What is APRS?
APRS, Automatic Position Reporting System, is a system to communicate via radio the GPS Position information from mobile amateur stations. It communicates with the packetprotocol.
How does it work?
APRS works with the packetprotocol. With the help of a GPS receiver and a radio, packets sent on 144.800Mhz FM are received and relayed by other amateurs with the same hobby APRS to a map on the internet. A website to view APRS stations is http://aprs.fi
